A: Hello, The head and hands for that prop came from Ghost Ride Productions. The head is called Old Timer, and the hands are their Care Taker hands. www.ghostride.com

A: Hi Ian! I typically use a 3 inch hole-saw to cut out the heel of the shoe or boot and then I place the footwear down over our mounting base. If you still need help, shoot me an email and I can send you some pictures. Thanks!

Q: How do you attach the lantern to the animated watchman? I will be purchasing your kit and the ghostride old timer hands

A: Hello, getting the lantern attached to the hand takes a little finesse. I start by carefully making a hole from one side of the hand to the other. A long awl or thin piece of metal rod will work. You need to push and twist it through the foam so it drills its way through without tearing it. Getting the lantern's handle through the hand requires removing it from the lantern and straightening one of the ends of the handle. Once that is done, you need to straighten about half of the handle itself and then you can carefully push it through the hole in the hand. Once again take care not to tear the foam. Once it is through you can re-bend it to the desired shape and reattach the lantern. I recommend removing the lantern for storage in the off season to protect the foam.

A: 1) the body parts for this prop came from www.ghostride.com 2) we use 3/4" plywood 24 inches wide x 15 inches deep on most of our animated props.

A: Hello, The Complete kits come with all of the necessary precut PVC pipe lengths needed to assemble the kit, with the Basic kits, you supply and cut your own pipe. All of the hardware and included items are the same beyond that.

A: Hello, the difference between all of our basic kits and complete kits is the pipe. In the complete kits we include all of the precut and labeled PVC pipes needed to assemble the kit. On the Basic kits you purchase and cut your own pipe. Everything else in the kits is exactly the same. Thanks!

A: Hello, Our animated kits come with a PWM speed controller. The video shows the prop running at a very low speed. The included controller will allow you to finely adjust the speed slower or faster.

A: Hello, our basic kits provide everything needed to build the prop except for the PVC pipe lengths needed to complete the body frame. With the Complete kits we include all of the precut pipe lengths needed to assemble the prop. With the basic kits you must provide and cut your own PVC pipe. Otherwise they are identical.

A: Hello, the overall height of the prop will depend on the neck/head you use on it. Using our neck pipe and a foam male wig head height will be approx. 5 feet 10 inches.

A: Hello, the complete Watchman kit comes with the motorized waist plate, power supply, speed control, required PVC fittings, and all of the precut and marked PVC pipe required to build the complete prop. We do not provide the wood base with any of our kits, but we do provide recommended sizes and thickness. We also do not include the hands or head.
