Looking for a simple prop animation kit?
The Multi-Mech is our first multi use mechanism. It offers the ability to operate in a number of positions and be used for a variety of animations. Mounted from above, it can be used to create a swinging prop on a swing (like a swinging skeleton) or a hanging torso. Mounted from below, it can be used to create a rocking or leaning prop. The kit includes U-bolts and hardware for easily attaching a spine. The mechanism also has two sets of mounting holes and comes with a right angle mounting kit to allow for a variety of options.
Installation notes:
Periodic lubrication of the ball joint fittings and hinge assembly is required.
When using this kit to move a spine, center bolt must be installed through the spine to prevent loosening/moving.
Keep the unit dry. If you plan to leave it outdoors, you must provide some reasonable protection from the elements.
