Flickering LED Kit

Question

Q: Is it possible to connect a group of these together? If so, what's the best way and how many can be connected without any problems? Thanks in advance!!

Q: Would it be possible to use some sort of dimmer to reduce the intensity of the flame effect? (E.g. reduce it to a "candle" level flame as opposed to a "lantern" level flame)

Q: How 'randomized' are these? If I have a series of these on the same circuit where they will all power up at exactly the same time, will they all flicker in unison or randomly from each other? I've worked with other 12v flame bulbs that would start off in unison, but there must have been some variation in their timing circuit because over time they would become randomized from each other.

Hello, I have never tried more than a few, but yes, I see no reason why you could not connect a "group" of them. You would need to wire them in parallel, and you just need to make sure your power supply can handle the load. These pull approx. 2-3 watts each. Thanks!

A: Unfortunately I do not have any type of LED rated dimmer here in the shop to try this with. I do not see anything in the documentation that lists them as being dimmable.

A: Hello, these are surprisingly bright. Depending on what you mount them in, they will easily light up an entire room.

A: Hello, The Flickering LED's are designed to run on 12VDC @ approx. 2 watts per light. I tested them on 5 volts and the light and flickered but were very dim. For best results we would recommend using 12VDC only.

Hello, I've personally only used a couple of these close to each other together, and I have never noticed them looking the same. These are a cob design with LEDS all around the tube so you can turn them. They definitely look like they all light at different rates to me.
