Yes, you can make the zombie kit shorter. As long as the dimensions of the swivel remain the same, the legs and upper portion of the spine can be shortened. If you move the mounting bases for the legs to the center set of mounting holes underneath the plate, you will get a narrower stance and you can trim the plate down if needed. We recently did this for a smaller female zombie we built. Please feel free to email us for any details.

A: Hello, yes, as long as you provide protection for the power supply and the speed control from the weather, then yes, the Swaying Zombie can be used outside.

Hello, all of our animated kits are assembled using the "slow" speed wire on the wiper motor, so yes, it can be connected to the "fast" wires to obtain more speed. We however do bot recommend running a swaying zombie at that speed. A thrashing prop will certainly shorten the life if the entire mechanism. Thanks!

Hello, yes, to lessen the rotation of the Swaying Zombie you would need to reconfigure the pivot point for the spine. You need to lengthen the spine brace uprights and move the hole drilled in the spine pipe up in equal increments to keep the geometry intact. The longer the pipe is below the pivot point, the less it will sway.
